Sharpen Society is designed as a subscription based model but also offers one-off knife sharpening with a 2 knife minimum.

When you sign up online you can expect for a smooth and stress free process from there!
You will receive a confirmation email and your delivery concierge will be in touch with you to schedule your first pickup and give you more information on how to package the knives, etc.

You will be billed initially upon initial sign up online. This will begin your 3 month subscription and you will be paid in full for the upcoming 3 month.
3 months later your next payment will due and it will be auto-deducted from your account and will continue until you cancel or change your subscription.
Please note we do not offer refunds or roll over knives for any reason if you do not use your sharpening that quarter.

It generally takes 1-3 days for your first pickup to be scheduled.

Yes! Subscribing members will be prioritized over one-off customers but we strive to make all customers happy and work within a speedy timeline.

We will be providing complimentary transportation materials upon your first delivery so moving forward it is easy, safe, and stress free BUT…
for your very first pick up please do the following:
Slide blade into a knife sheath if you have one, OR sandwich it between two pieces of heavy cardboard and tape the cardboard shut so the edge and tip are fully covered with the cardboard.
Alternatively: You can wrap the covered knife in a dish towel or bubble wrap so nothing can shift and tape the knife tight.
Keep the handle exposed and be sure the entire blade is covered.
Box or Bag it: Place wrapped knife in a rigid box, mailing tube, or canvas bag.
Label clearly: Please put your first and last name on the box, bag or on the knives themselves.
Additionally: Be sure to indicate somewhere that there are knives in the box/bag to protect family members and others.

If you have a need that is beyond regular time frames, please contact us here and we will provide you with a quote based on availability and the details of the job.

Yes! Our pricing remains the same, biut if you prefer to drop your knives off and pick them up yourself we do offer designated dates and times that you can come to our Norwalk location. Please inquire directly about details of this option.

If you don’t use your knife sharpenings during your quarterly period they DO NOT roll over. If you are consistently not using your sharpening every 3 months you should look to downgrade your package the next quarter to a lower tier package or think about moving to one-off sharpening.
